Here's my take on the controversial
DEMO-MAN! I actually see the clear-cast version as the main one. That's the route I think Mattel would go when/if they release a figure.
I still say blah! to the name but I'm cool with it

I really went with an amalgam of designs with this one.
Firstly, I simply felt that Demo-Man was/is Skeletor with the Keldor parts taken out.
Secondly, I wanted to play up the Skeletor bat theme and give reason for it beyond the scope of the Evil Horde. I see Keldor's "symbol" as the raven (
colours and belt buckle) and then with Skeletor it gravitates to skulls and bats.
Lastly I wanted to pull something cool from the vintage line. You'll see Mark Taylor's influence when you track down his early concept of Skeletor (
not the beastly one but the undead zombie version.)
Now, putting that all together I came up with what you see here. I tried a slew of colour schemes as well. Red looked great but purple just fit the Skeletor vibe more. Red was just too Evil Horde-ish.
Am I happy with my take? Most definitely. I decided to push the envelope and go something different with him as well as stay away from what Scare Glow has going on...
BUT... if I had to do it again, I would heavily consider going with a Charon vibe. It would down-play Demo-Man allowing Skeletor's visual appeal to be more daunting.
